Topical Antibiotics
Topical antibiotics like Clindamycin are extremely drying and generally do not stay effective. The skin is your largest defense mechanism so it has the ability to gain immunity to antibiotics. This is a dead-end pathway, and one that increases your risk of UV damage immensely. Remember that you are treating 4 types of skin: The active pimples, the delicate healing tissue from past lesions, scar tissue, and the remaining healthy skin. There is no logical reason to damage your entire face just to kill the pimples, only to have the medicine stop working for you after a couple of months.
